Saloukee designs are collections of innovative & unique creations, made from laser cut paper. Inspired by the transient nature of trends in historical & contemporary fashion, Saloukee creates pieces of lasting beauty without a lasting ecological impact. The individual pieces are constructed using innovative, non-traditional jewellery making processes.

Saloukee's debut collection is directly influenced by a study in to the Victorian corset. Taking the concept of restriction, the pieces exploit interaction with the wearer by using a snakelike motion, only conceivable through touch. The design enables the pieces to expand & contract so that its movement is synchronised with that of the wearer.

The use of paper in the forms creates a sense of simplicity & tactility that sets them apart. By delicately manipulating the paper by hand, this every day matter is transformed into a beautiful three dimensional form. The aim is to invoke a sense of preciousness on its wearer, offering beautifully bespoke collector's items, to a discerning clientele.
