DREW PERRIDGE
Drew Perridge graduated in Jewellery design from Central St Martins College of Art and Design in London before taking work placements with the sculptor and medal maker Jane McAdam Freud, jeweller Ben Day and the silversmith Richard Fox.
Based in London Drew teaches a Jewellery workshop at Morley College and Epping Forest College of art, and an Introduction to Jewellery at Hampstead School of Art.
Individual pieces of Drew's jewellery and silversmithing have featured in Fashion Forecast magazine and have been exhibited at the international jewellery show 'Inhorgenta' in Munich. Previous collections have been inspired by architectural and industrial forms as varied as the wooden stave churches of Norway and the steel structures of the Steam Age.
Collection 2008 was inspired by the timeless handmade shapes of jewellery from the ancient world and was launched at Somerset House during the Crafts Council annual craft show, Origin 2008.
