HANNAH BATES

My main inspirations come from engineering, technology and the contrasts I see in my life and suroundings. I use a mix of precious and non-precious materials to accentuate these contrasts and to bring colour and texture into the pieces.

I graduated from Loughborough University in 2006 with a degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery. I am currently participating in an incubation scheme called Design Space which is located in the historic Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.
