ILANA LEVINE
Born in Montreal, Canada, Ilana Levine’s background is in fine arts and graphic design. In 2000, Ilana moved to London, England, initially continuing her career in graphic design until deciding in December 2008 to build her own creative business (ilanaDesign) placing jewellery-making (which evolved from her sculptural work) at the forefront. Ilana’s intention is that her background disciplines will intertwine, influence, shape and inspire one another.
This range of silver and gold-plated jewellery is called the Fondue collection. Every piece is physically characterised by melting organic elements that are inspired by Salvador Dali’s oozing objects. The collection is ever-expanding and presently includes earrings, bangles, pendants, cufflinks and rings in mainly silver, but also in gold-plate and with variations containing precious stones as diamonds and topaz.
