JANE TADRIST
The work I create is influenced by my environment, both natural and manmade. I work intuitively, often taking photographs for inspiration. These forms are processed through my visual language of structure, geometry and fractals to create decorative structures.
My current body of work: ‘Brutiful Hexagons’ is inspired by Bracknell new town. I have abstracted the townscape into forms composed of hexagons referencing the brutalist architecture of the period and spirals that are my metaphor for the motion of the myriad roundabouts.
